The incisions are so small, no stitches are required.

Trans-Illuminated Microphlebectomy

This procedure involves making tiny punctures in the skin, through which the varicose veins are removed with special instruments.

Veins are very collapsible, so that even large veins may be removed through the tiny incisions used in this technique.  The leg will need to be wrapped for a few days.  The cosmetic results of this operation are excellent and there are few complications associated with this procedure, which is more accurate than ligation and stripping.

Can ambulatory microphlebectomy be used to remove any varicose vein?
